Najväčší multikultúrny a multižánrový festival na Slovensku [fjúžn] zaplní od 19. do 30. septembra Bratislavu koncertami, divadlom, diskusiami, výstavami aj komunitnými podujatiami. Témou 21. ročníka festivalu sú Premeny, pretože spolu tvoríme svet. Každou jednou premenou.
Spolu tvoríme svet, ktorý máme doma.
Hranice na mape sa sotva pohnú, no mení sa, čo robia. Filtrujú. Rozhodujú, koho pustia a koho nie. A ľudia cez ne idú tak či tak: na úteku pred vojnou, klímou či strachom, aj za prácou a nádejou na lepšie. Každý, kto hranicu prekročí, sa za ňou mení.
Lenže hranica nie je len čiara na mape. Pokračuje ďalej - cez prízvuk, papiere, cez otázku „a odkiaľ si?". A premena nezostáva na pleciach toho, kto prišiel. Mení sa aj miesto, ktoré ho prijíma, alebo odmieta. Svet, ktorý máme doma, nie je daný raz a navždy. Vzniká priebežne: z toho, kto k nemu pribúda, aj z toho, ako naň reagujeme.
21. ročník festivalu [fjúžn] je preto o premenách. O tých, čo prekročili hranicu, aj o spoločnosti, ktorá sa nimi mení. Či si to pripúšťaš alebo nie.
A keď ju raz uvidíš, dôjde ti, že nestojíme na dvoch stranách hranice. Svet, ktorý máme doma, nevzniká ako „my" proti „nim". Tvoríme ho spolu, každou jednou premenou.

Slovakia’s largest multicultural and multi-genre festival [fjúžn] will come alive in Bratislava from 19 to 30 September with concerts, theatre, discussions, exhibitions and community events. The theme of the 21. edition is Transformations, because together we create the world. With every single transformation.
Together we create the world we have at home.
The borders on the map barely move, but what they do changes. They filter. They decide who to let in and who not. And people cross them anyway: fleeing war, climate or fear, also for work and hope for a better future. Everyone who crosses the border changes behind it.
But the border is not just a line on the map. It continues on — through accent, papers, through the question ""and where are you from?". And the transformation does not remain on the shoulders of the one who came. The place that accepts or rejects it also changes. The world we have at home is not given once and for all. It is created continuously: from who comes to it, and from how we react to it.
The 21st year of the [fusion] festival is therefore about transformations. About those who have crossed the border, and about the society that is changing through them. Whether you admit it or not.
And once you see it, you will realize that we are not standing on two sides of the border. The world we have at home does not arise as "us" against "them". We create it together, with every single transformation.
