TUF ako pevný materiál vyvrhnutý sopkou do vzduchu z veľkého množstva materiálu. Častice môžu byť unášané vetrom na veľké vzdialenosti a usadzovať sa v okolí sopky. Usadením a spojením týchto sopečných vyvrhlín vzniká TUF. Zvrstvením a striedaním nie len vo vertikálnom ale aj v horizontálnom smere.

Collective exhibition of current students from the sculpture studios of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. Tuff is a solid material ejected into the air by a volcano from a large mass of matter. Its particles can be carried by wind over great distances and deposited in the surrounding area. Through the settling and consolidation of these volcanic ejecta, tuff is formed - layered and interstratified not only vertically but also horizontally.
