In memory of the science fiction author Stanislaw Lem, who would celebrate his 100th birthday this year, we organize The Anti-Dystopian Congress.
The online program is looking at ambigous, unfinished and unpolished narration of our future and is defined by a series of discussions, presentations, artistic interventions and a film program, which will also be available online.

Kurátorom programu je nemecký autor a teoretik Georg Seeßlen. Mal by reflektovať koncepty identity a diverzity v dobe umelej inteligencie a virtuálnej reality. Náš výber má ukázať, že filmy pod nálepkou sci-fi môžu byť aj úplne iné: Žiadne spektakulárne predstavenia z populárnej mytológie, žiadne fantázie o večnom boji, deštrukcii a apokalypse a žiadne články vo futuristickom prestrojení. Je o osobných víziách a prekračovaní hraníc, o filme ako myšlienkovom a formovom experimente, o slobodnejšom myslení a rozprávaní nad rámec jednoduchej duality utópie a dystopie, ide o chápanie budúcnosti ako otvoreného priestoru, ktorý je viac než len predĺžením prítomnosti a jej problémy. Je o sci-fi ako o odvážnom žánri.
