Quinn Latimer is a California-born writer, art critic, and editor whose work often explores feminist economies of writing, reading, and image production. Her unique voice within contemporary art is deeply informed by a sensibility shaped by literature, history, and art. Similarly to the works of Anna Daučíková, the texts of Latimer come into being through an examination of speech, architecture, desire, and everyday life, which both contour and depart from theoretical discourses.

Quinn Latimer is the author of Like a Woman: Essays, Readings, Poems, Sarah Lucas: Describe This Distance, Film as a Form of Writing: Quinn Latimer Talks to Akram Zaatari, and Rumored Animals. Her writings and readings have been featured widely, including at REDCAT, Los Angeles; Chisenhale Gallery, London; Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art, Rotterdam; Radio Athènes, Athens; the Poetry Project, New York; the Venice Architecture Biennale; and Sharjah Biennial 13. She is the editor of many publications, including The documenta 14 Reader and documenta 14: Daybook; Stories, Myths, Ironies, and Other Songs: Conceived, Directed, Edited, and Produced by M. Auder; Paul Sietsema: Interviews on Films and Works; and Pamela Rosenkranz: No Core. She is part of the core team of the Master of Fine Arts program at Institut Kunst, in Basel, where, with Chus Martínez, she organizes a  biannual series of symposia on questions of gender, language, power, and artistic practice. Latimer was editor-in-chief of publications for documenta 14 in Athens and Kassel.
